Some of the BEST donuts on the South Shore of Long Island were at Fritzsche's Bakery on Main Street in Sayville. Simple, recipes handed down, fresh ingredients!! THE BEST JELLY DONUTS EVER! Okay, now that that is said.... Saturday and Sunday mornings the line was out the door and you hoped your neighbors left you a few when you got to the register! Fritzsche's was a hometown favorite and the iconic yet simple sign was from when they opened decades ago.
